On behalf of our client, Mollies Motels Limited, we request that The City of Edinburgh Council provides a formal screening opinion to confirm if there is a requirement for an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) to accompany a planning application in respect of a hotel and restaurant development on land 140 metres north of 15 Lochside Avenue, Edinburgh. This request is made in pursuance of Regulation 6 of the Town and Country Planning (EIA) (Scotland) Regulations 2017.
