Two Ravengill cases list different turbine counts

A 2025 Ravengill scoping request described up to 32 turbines and 300MW. A separate Section 36 case lists up to 21 turbines with heights up to 220m and a battery facility of approximately 50MW; the records do not establish whether the newer entry supersedes the earlier one.

South Lanarkshire’s 2026 record for Ravengill Energy Park, P/26/0922, is a Section 36 consultation listed as Registered. It describes up to 21 turbines with a height up to 220m and a BESS facility with a capacity of approximately 50MW.

A separate Ravengill case, P/25/0683, was a request for a scoping opinion. Its description lists up to 32 turbines with combined generating capacity of 300MW, plus associated infrastructure including a BESS. The council’s official summary records “Scoping opinion adopted” for that application.

The P/26/0922 register shows one related case, but the material retrieved does not identify it. Both entries carry the Ravengill Energy Park name, yet they do not establish that P/26/0922 supersedes P/25/0683. The later entry remains Registered; the earlier case records an adopted scoping opinion. These are different descriptions in separate council cases, not a confirmed final design or consent to build.
